From Betrothal Nights to a Wedding Celebration at the Shalamcheh Memorial: 14 Imam Rezaee Couples Begin Their Journey of Love Alongside the Martyrs

With the efforts of the Imam Rezaeeha Society and the support of charitable donors, a wedding celebration for 14 underprivileged couples from the border villages near Shalamcheh was held at the Shalamcheh Martyrs’ Memorial.

This spiritual ceremony, aimed at facilitating simple marriages and supporting underprivileged families, was held in the presence of notable figures such as Haj Hossein Yekta (head of the Imam Rezaeeha Society), the governor of Khorramshahr, the local member of parliament, and the commander of the Khorramshahr IRGC unit.

In this heartfelt celebration, which took place in a spiritual atmosphere beside the graves of the martyrs, the Imam Rezaeeha Society — with the help of donors — presented each young couple with a copy of the Holy Qur’an and a shopping voucher worth 500 million rials (approximately 50 million tomans).

The Imam Rezaeeha Society, active throughout Iran, works to improve the lives of the needy by supporting simple marriages and creating employment opportunities for underprivileged groups. With the support of charitable individuals, the society takes significant steps toward alleviating social and economic challenges.

Previously, the Shalamcheh Memorial hosted a month-long storytelling program called “Betrothal Nights” led by Haj Hossein Yekta, which was well-received by Rahian-e-Nour convoys and other pilgrims visiting the site.
