Simultaneously with the presence of the Rahian-e Noor caravans in the holy land of Shalamcheh to participate in the ‘Shab-e Baleh Boroon’ ceremonies, the exhibition ‘Hesht-e Khedmat’ in memory of the martyr Ayatollah Raisi was held at the Shalamcheh Memorial, attended by a large number of Rahian-e Noor pilgrims.
This exhibition aimed to introduce and showcase the extensive services provided by the Imam Reza Society in various regions of the country, particularly in the area spanning from the Khorramshahr Resistance Square to the Shalamcheh border, as well as the services offered during crises and religious occasions. Held in an atmosphere full of energy and spirituality, the exhibition provided an opportunity to highlight the humanitarian services of this society to the beloved people of our nation.
Introducing the Services of the Imam Reza Society
At this exhibition, the diverse and extensive services provided by the Imam Reza Society to assist the needy and develop deprived areas were introduced. Some of these services include:
Providing Services During Natural Disasters: The Imam Reza Society actively participates in natural disasters such as floods and earthquakes. At the exhibition, examples of the society’s relief efforts and assistance during crises were displayed.
Fisheries and Development of Palm Groves: To promote the economic development of southern regions and support farmers, the Imam Reza Society has engaged in establishing fisheries and developing palm groves.
Donation of Wheelchairs and Hearing Aids: The Imam Reza Society has taken steps to assist those in need by donating wheelchairs and hearing aids to individuals requiring these services.
Donation of Baby Formula and Layettes: The society has also provided donations of baby formula and layettes for infants and mothers in need.
Small and Home-Based Workshops: The Imam Reza Society has supported men and women in deprived areas by establishing small and home-based workshops for self-employment and economic empowerment. Among these services was the donation of sewing machines to the people of the Hay region.
Health and Medical Services: Providing medical and healthcare services in deprived areas, particularly in the Hay region, is another initiative undertaken by the Imam Reza Society. Equipping medical centers, the presence of volunteer specialist doctors, and other related activities are among these services.
Donation of Dowries and Loans: Assisting young couples by donating dowries and providing interest-free loans to help them start their married life is another prominent service offered by this society.
Blessed Shoe Polishing Services and the Presence of Young Volunteers: One of the unique features of this exhibition was the establishment of a ‘Blessed Shoe Polishing’ booth, organized in collaboration with the young volunteers of this society. This booth not only showcased voluntary and compassionate services but also engaged teenagers in charitable activities and service, providing them with an opportunity to express their devotion to the Ahl al-Bayt (peace be upon them).
Establishment of the Martyr Sanwar Photo Booth: Alongside various booths, a booth dedicated to the photos of Martyr Sanwar was also set up. In this booth, pilgrims kept the memory of the bravery of this great martyr alive by posing in the martyr’s position and taking photos. Visitors to this booth became acquainted with the life of this great martyr and gained a deeper understanding of his sacrifices and selflessness.
“Establishment of the Imam Reza Society’s Mawkeb: Alongside the Shalamcheh border market, the Imam Reza Society’s hospitality Mawkeb was also set up. This Mawkeb, by offering hospitality to pilgrims and exhibition visitors, created a spiritual and friendly atmosphere, reminding attendees of the services provided by the Imam Reza Society during the days of Arbaeen.
Overall, this exhibition was an opportunity for the beloved people of our nation to become familiar with the humanitarian and selfless services of the Imam Reza Society. Alongside all these services, a spirit of empathy, love for the people, and assistance to deprived areas was tangibly present in the atmosphere, leaving visitors with a precious memory of a spiritual day at the Shalamcheh Memorial.
