Haj Hossein Yekta: “Bandar Abbas is the Frontline of the Battle of Narratives”<\/strong><\/p>\n

Haj Hossein Yekta, head of the Imam Reza (AS) Society, emphasized the need to accurately document the heroism of firefighters, rescue workers, and jihadi relief personnel during a memorial ceremony for the martyrs of the Shahid Rajaei Port incident. He described the recent event as a “divine test” and a “battlefield of narratives,” stating:<\/p>\n

“Bandar Abbas is now the frontline of our intellectual and ideological struggle\u2014this is the arena of the companions of Ibrahim (AS), who walked through fire and became purified for the advent [of Imam Mahdi].”<\/p>\n

Yekta praised the selfless, anonymous, and devoted youth who “stood in the heart of the fire, offering their lives,” adding:<\/p>\n

“These are the ones whom Imam Mahdi (AJ) looks to for his reappearance.”<\/p>\n

Recalling his childhood memories in Bandar Abbas and epic moments like the IRGC Navy drills at Shahid Bahonar Pier, Yekta noted:<\/p>\n

“This city has always been a stage for insightful and sacrificial people.”<\/p>\n

He drew parallels between resistance in southern Lebanon and the courage of Iranian youth:<\/p>\n

*”Just as they stood against F-35s and AI in Lebanon, our youth stood against real flames here. In both, we saw faith, devotion, and men who became \u2018the Hand of God.\u2019”*<\/p>\n

The Media Jihad Headquarters<\/h3>\n

Yekta highlighted the critical role of religious assemblies (hey\u2019ats):<\/p>\n

“Today\u2019s hey\u2019at isn\u2019t just for mourning\u2014it\u2019s the headquarters for \u2018Media Jihad.\u2019 We must master narratives, arm ourselves with content, and deliver the truth even to counter-revolutionaries\u2014this is a divine mandate.”<\/p>\n

The Silent Soldiers of Reappearance<\/h3>\n

He framed the port tragedy as a modern-day “Karbala V,” where firefighters and volunteers emulated the “Companions of the Furnace” (Quran 85:4-8), sacrificing anonymously.<\/p>\n

“This port didn\u2019t just witness fire\u2014it revealed loyalty, sacrifice, and readiness for the new Islamic civilization. The reappearance [of Imam Mahdi] is nearer than ever.”<\/p>\n

From the Persian Gulf to Southern Lebanon<\/h3>\n

Comparing Iran\u2019s resilience to Lebanon\u2019s victories, Yekta urged media activists to amplify these narratives:<\/p>\n

“Every person must be a torchbearer; every institution needs a rapid, high-quality content system. As the Supreme Leader said: \u2018You youth will witness the reappearance.\u2019 Prepare for the new Islamic civilization.”<\/p>\n
