Haj Hossein Yekta, on the first anniversary of the martyrdom of Ayatollah Raisi in Yazd, pointed to the impact of the martyred president’s sacrifice on national unity, describing it as the ‘Great Sacrifice’ (Zibh-i Azim) and a prelude to the ‘Great Victory’ (Fath-i Azim). He also likened Raisi’s path to that of Martyr Soleimani, speaking about how the martyr’s blood brings transformation in the arena of ‘Jihad of Explanation’ (Jihad al-Tabyin).
According to a report by the Public Relations Department of Hayat-e-Tayyeba Foundation, Haj Hossein Yekta, a narrator of Sacred Defense, on Thursday Khordad 1st [May 21] at the martyrdom anniversary ceremony of Ayatollah Seyed Ebrahim Raisi in Yazd, examined various dimensions of the president’s martyrdomand and characterized it as a unity-building incident for the Iranian nation.
He stated: “When the news of martyrdom arrived, the Iranian people united in solidarity. This is precisely the ‘Great Sacrifice’ (Zibh-e Azim) that paves the way for the ‘Great Victory’ (Fath-e Azim). Just as Haj Qasem Soleimani’s blood created the nightmare for ISIS, Mr. Raisi’s blood has become the foundation of national unity.”
Yekta, referring to Raisi’s last provincial trip to Abadan, stated:
“He was serving until the very last moment, saying ‘Endure for the sake of the Guardianship (Velayat) and the people.’We saw that people’s prayers became the support for these acts of endurance.
He added, stating that Martyr Raisi was an exemplar of a righteous servant (bendeh saleh):
“A few nights before his martyrdom, in a gathering, he asked attendees to pray for sincerity in his actions. This reflects the very spirit that Imam Khomeini called ‘the repeatable miracle.’
The narrator of the Revolution, referring to the regional impact of martyrs’ blood, stated:
“Today, the flag of resistance is raised from the Mediterranean to the Persian Gulf. Just as Soleimani was transformative for the region, the martyrdom of Ayatollah Raisi has also been influential in the arena of ‘Jihad al-Tabyin’ (the struggle for ideological clarification).”
He then, referring to the promises of the Revolution’s Leader about the demise of the Zionist regime and the retreat of America from the region, said: “We are witnessing the fulfillment of these promises with our own eyes.”
Yekta, warning about the enemy’s media war, emphasized:
“Now we are standing behind the walls of Al-Quds (Jerusalem), and the Islamic Republic’s defensive line has advanced thousands of kilometers. Today, the battle of wills and determination has begun, and Raisi had resolved his determination to establish Islamic rule.”
He also, referring to the role of the youth in the future of the country, stated:
“The ’80s and ’90s generation (Iranian calendar) are the ones who will elevate the revolution to its peak. The sound of the trumpet of ‘Jihad of Explanation’ is heard, and the men of this arena must be trained.”
