Yasser Saberi, the executive director of the Shabhaye Por Setareh project, also stated: This program is a storytelling gathering focused on the martyrs, held annually in one of the provinces with the presence of Haj Hossein Yekta, one of the Sacred Defense veterans, and has become a cultural and influential gathering in the country.
Regarding the naming of the program, he added: In one of his speeches, the Supreme Leader compared the martyrs to stars, whose light can guide the way. The martyrs, in the dark night of sedition and the difficult nights of war, became our guiding light with their blood, and today, with these same stars, we can find the path for the future.
He further stated that the city of Tabriz, a city of honor, struggle, and martyrdom, is the host of this special program this year. The reason for this choice is Tabriz’s brilliant history in Iran’s resistance from Setar Khan to eminent martyrs like Ayatollah Ghazi Tabatabaei, the unparalleled role of the Ashura Corps under the command of Martyr Mehdi Bakeri during the Sacred Defense, the influential presence of the people of Azerbaijan in all Jihadi fields, and the 12-day war, where Tabriz was a hub of enthusiasm, solidarity, and resistance.
Saberi emphasized: In the view of Imam Khomeini (RA) and the Supreme Leader, Tabriz holds an exceptional position, and without an accurate narration of this region’s history, any narration of Iran’s history remains incomplete.
He added: The Shabhaye Por Setareh program is not only a war narrative but also a school for revisiting the history of the martyrs.
He continued: In this program, Haj Hossein narrates memories from the Army, IRGC, Basij, Construction Jihad, the defenders of the shrine, and the resistance, which will be engaging for the younger generation and serve as a kind of live history class of the Revolution.
