Hossein Yekta at Hamedan Arbaeen Martyrs Commemoration

The blood of the martyrs and the perseverance of their families paved the way for Iran’s honor Haj Hossein Yekta, at the Arbaeen Commemoration of the Martyrs of Power in Hamedan Province, referring to the position of the martyrs and the unique role of the people of Hamedan in defending the values of the Islamic Revolution, stated: “Many years must pass for the people of Iran to fully recognize the depth of spirituality and selflessness of their martyrs. The generations raised with faith and conviction in Hamedan and across the country have kept the name and path of the martyrs alive. From the nights of February 11 (22 Bahman) and the difficult early days of the revolution, the people, though empty-handed, with hearts full of devotion and strength, performed miracles that transformed history.

He added: “I will never forget how the people of Hamedan, by sacrificing their lives, conquered the dangerous mountain passes of Kurdistan to ensure the country’s security. Even the honorable martyr Shadmani was threatened multiple times, yet he drew his peace from God and continued his path of service with determination. The esteemed families of the martyrs, the patient mothers who were repeatedly ready for the sacrifice of their loved ones, today stand as symbols of perseverance and wisdom

Haj Hossein Yekta, referring to the unparalleled role of the younger generation, emphasized: “These days, the young women and men of the 70s and 80s generations have stepped forward out of love for the martyrs—a generation that may not have witnessed the frontlines or the war, yet their hearts are devoted to the martyrs’ ideals, and they have pledged to continue the path of the martyrs and the revolution.

He emphasized: “Today, the national unity and the unified voice of the people send a message of strength and readiness to our armed forces and the IRGC, inspiring them to stand firm against any threat by following the path of the martyrs. Events such as ‘Al-Aqsa Storm’ and other regional developments have also shown that the blood of the martyrs and the perseverance of Iranian families have paved the way for justice and honor in the Islamic world

The Sacred Defense narrator, recalling a memory of Martyr Haj Hossein Hamedani and his companionship until his final days, said: “Martyrs and humble commanders like Hamedani and Shadmani continue this path from generation to generation. Today, those same families, the same mothers, and the new generation carry the banner of the martyrs’ culture and loyalty to the Guardianship of the Islamic Jurist, and they will continue this path with strength until the appearance of Imam Mahdi (may Allah hasten his reappearance)

At the end of the ceremony, Haj Hossein Yekta addressed the great people of Hamedan, saying: “You are a people who have stood by the Guardianship for forty years; both your missiles were first-class, and so were your martyrs!
