On this year’s 3rd of Khordad, two effective and tangible projects aimed at economic and social empowerment and improving health standards were inaugurated in Shalamcheh border areas:

Inauguration of Fish Farming Complex in Dual-Purpose Pools

In one of Shalamcheh’s border villages, a fish farming complex with 7 pools became operational. This project, implemented in cooperation with Fisheries Department, Imam Reza (PBUH) Popular Movement and Barekat Foundation, provides direct employment for 14 rural household heads and indirect employment for 20 others. This project is a practical step towards economic empowerment and reducing migration from border areas.

Launch of Dental Clinic in New Shalamcheh Village Health Center

Simultaneously with economic inauguration, a health service began. With the provision of a dental unit by benefactors of Imam Reza (PBUH) Popular Movement and cooperation of Khorramshahr Health Network, a fully equipped dental center was launched in New Shalamcheh Village. This center will provide affordable and accessible medical services to border area residents and is an effective step in improving rural oral health.

A Brighter Future Ahead

Alongside these projects, in recent months with efforts of Imam Reza (PBUH) Popular Movement and Barekat Foundation, construction of over 100 fish farming pools has begun in Shalamcheh region. This large employment-generation project will soon enter production and service phases in several operational stages, bringing fundamental transformation to regional economy.
